Our general campus tours last approximately 2 hours and additional academic interest meetings vary in length. You're welcome to bring family or guests, and we’ll help you make the most of your time on campus.

2026-27 Holidays and Special Hours

While you're welcome to come to campus for a Self-Guided Tour any time, keep in mind that University building hours may be altered on the weekends and for special holidays.

The University of Kentucky will be closed for the following 2026-27 holidays:

  • July 3 for Independence Day
  • September 7 for Labor Day
  • November 26 and 27 for Thanksgiving
  • December 24 - January 1 for Winter Holiday Break
  • January 18 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • May 31 for Memorial Day
  • June 18 for Juneteenth
